State-of-the-Art Capital Hospital

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann wrote, “Today I have dedicated the 120-bed state-of-the-art Capital Hospital in Moga to the people of Punjab. Equipped with modern medical facilities, this hospital will also provide free treatment under the ‘Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana’. CM Bhagwant Mann In Moga

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “This is not a political rally. This is part of our continuous efforts to accelerate the pace of development across Punjab. Education and healthcare are the two biggest priorities of our government as they are the strongest pillars of all-round development.” “Doctors are considered another form of God. Healthcare and education are professions dedicated to the service of humanity. Unfortunately some people are bringing these sacred professions into disrepute, but our government is committed to restoring the faith of people in both the sectors.”

Modern Machines and Technology

Referring to the inauguration of the private multi-specialty hospital, the Chief Minister said, “It is a matter of great pride that such a hospital equipped with modern machines and technology has been built here. Expert doctors will provide standard treatment to the people. When our government took over the reins in 2022, Punjab was ranked 27th in school education. Today, due to continuous reforms and tireless efforts, Punjab has emerged as the number one state in the country in school education.”

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “There was a time when government schools were considered only for poor children and people used to make fun of them. We established ‘Schools of Eminence’ and rejuvenated the education system. Today Punjab has become the best performing state in the country in school education, overtaking Kerala.”

He further said, “Only 82 students from government schools had passed the NEET exam in 2022. This year, 881 students from government schools have passed NEET, which shows a big change in our education system.”

Benefits from Road Safety Force

He said, “Since its inception in February last year, the Road Safety Force has reduced deaths in road accidents by almost 50 percent, and has also ensured the safe return of valuables and money to accident victims.”

The Chief Minister said, “Punjab has also launched the country’s first universal healthcare scheme ‘Mukhyamantri Sehat Yojana’, which provides cashless treatment up to Rs 10 lakh annually to every family in the state. Punjab is the first state in India to provide such comprehensive health coverage, which has significantly reduced the financial burden on the people while ensuring standard treatment.”

Cashless treatment worth more than Rs 650 crore

He said, “This historic initiative reflects our commitment towards healthcare for all. People have received cashless treatment worth more than Rs 650 crore under this scheme and Punjab is writing a new story of success in the health sector.”

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann further said, “Chennai’s Apollo Hospital is known for liver transplant and there are very few such facilities in North India. Punjab has now become the second state after Delhi to set up a liver transplant center in Mohali. This is another important step towards providing world-class healthcare and saving precious lives.”
