By releasing a video, Bhumi Pednekar has expressed the pain of the flood victims of Assam and has also described the shocking scene of the situation there. Six districts here are in the grip of floods and more than 6.50 lakh people have been affected.
Described a horrifying scene
Referring to the Assam floods, Bhumi Pednekar said, “I just saw a video where a man’s body was tied to a pillar so that his body does not get washed away anywhere else. I saw another video in which a man is holding his cow tightly, people are trying to rescue him, but he is not letting go.”

She further said, “It will break your heart to see the visuals that are coming from Assam, look, this is a part of our country… which needs us a lot right now. I am seeing a lot of conversations where people are saying that our responsibility is not little, we have done a lot, but how can you not have responsibility. As an Indian citizen, we are a part of this country. We have to move forward and help them.” With this he has appealed to everyone to unite and help.
