Discussion of joining NDA

In fact, for the last few days, news was coming out that Sharad Pawar’s faction may join NDA or it may merge with NCP Ajit Pawar faction. However, Supriya Sule had rejected all these speculations outright on Saturday itself. He had clearly said that neither BJP, nor any NDA ally nor Congress has approached him for any such proposal.

Talking about the all-party meeting, the purpose of this meeting was to smoothly run the monsoon session starting from July 20 and to reach a consensus on important legislative business. But the opposition parties walked out at the very beginning of the meeting. The reason for this was that Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju had invited “National Citizens Party of India” i.e. NCPI to the meeting. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Health Minister JP Nadda, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh, Pramod Tiwari and Kodikunil Suresh, Samajwadi Party’s Dharmendra Yadav and leaders of many other parties attended the meeting. Monsoon session will begin from July 20 and is likely to continue till August 13.
