Generally, when TTE catches a passenger traveling without a ticket or with a wrong ticket, he first takes action as per the rules. Fines are collected from such passengers or they are asked to travel in general coach. But every situation is not the same and sometimes humanity appears bigger than the rules. These days, a video is going viral on social media, which is not just a story of checking, but is an example of humanity, respect and responsibility which has won the hearts of millions of people.
In the video, a young soldier is seen sitting on the floor near the toilet gate, near the train gate. It is clearly visible that he did not find any seat to sit during the journey. Meanwhile, TTE Jitendra Mishra reaches there while checking the tickets. First, like other passengers, he asks the soldier to show his ticket. Onlookers feel that maybe now he will be fined or he will be asked to leave from there.

The soldier shows his identity card and explains his problem. He tells that he could not get a seat, hence he is forced to travel sitting near the gate. TTE Jitendra Mishra’s attitude completely changes after listening to him. He neither argued with the jawan nor imposed any fine on him. Instead he immediately started checking the information about available seats on his tablet.
Within some time, he finds a vacant lower berth in the sleeper coach. After this, he himself takes the young man with him and reaches that seat and asks him to sit comfortably. Relief and happiness are clearly visible on the face of the soldier who had been traveling in discomfort for several hours. The smile on his face shows how much happiness a small help can bring to someone.
TTE Jitendra Mishra does not stop at just providing seats. He also gives a water bottle to the soldier so that the journey becomes a little easier for him. After this he shakes hands with him and salutes his dedication and spirit of service towards the country. This entire scene is so emotional that even the people watching the video are not able to stop themselves from getting emotional.
This video quickly went viral on social media and people praised TTE a lot. While sharing the video on his Instagram account @tte__jitendramishra, Jitendra Mishra also wrote an emotional message. He said that if you are for the country, then we and our Indian Railways are always ready for you. Jai Hind!” This one line also won the hearts of the people, because it clearly shows respect and gratitude towards the soldiers.
