Petition related to consumer rights and pricing
The common consumer remains troubled due to arbitrary fares and additional charges levied by airlines in air travel. But due to lack of any specific guidelines in this direction, he is helpless. In such a situation, this petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against this arbitrary attitude of the airlines companies. The petitioner says that private airlines in India are charging higher fares from passengers by adopting dynamic pricing without adequate regulation, which is affecting the rights of consumers.
