Sacrifice of soldiers is an inspiration for generations, PM Modi salutes the heroes on 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces on the occasion of 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas on Sunday (July 26). During this, he remembered the indomitable courage and sacrifice of the soldiers to protect the sovereignty and borders of the country in the 1999 Kargil war. The PM said that the bravery of the soldiers in the toughest situations will always be a matter of pride for the country.

Sharing a post on social media, PM Modi said that on Kargil Vijay Diwas, the entire country expresses gratitude to those brave soldiers who showed indomitable courage and dedication for the security of the country. He said that the soldiers’ unwavering love for the country and dedication to duty will always inspire the coming generations.

Amit Shah paid tribute

Along with this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to the martyred soldiers on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. He described Kargil Vijay Diwas as a symbol of the indomitable courage and extraordinary bravery of the Indian Army. Shah said, ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas is a symbol of the indomitable courage and extraordinary bravery of the Indian Army. In 1999, facing adverse conditions and hostile positions located on the inaccessible, snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas, our brave soldiers forced the enemy to surrender through ‘Operation Vijay’. Rajnath Singh participated in the Vijay Diwas celebrations

On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the Vijay Diwas ceremony organized at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras on Saturday. During this he paid tribute to the martyred soldiers. He said that even after the Kargil war of 1999, the challenges have not ended. Referring to Pakistan, he said that we have to remember that even today the challenges have not reduced; The intentions of the infiltrators have not changed and even today they adopt tactics like proxy war or infiltration. Singh said and stressed that the Indian Army is fully prepared to face any challenge.

Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi also remembered the martyred soldiers on Kargil Vijay Diwas. He paid tribute to the soldiers who made supreme sacrifice while protecting the country’s borders. He said that the nation will always be indebted to the courage, bravery and supreme sacrifice of the soldiers.
