
Niharika: Niharika NM, who has made her mark as a content creator, is debuting in Hindi films with the film ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ with famous dancer and actor Raghav Juyal. Meanwhile, Niharika has made a shocking revelation. He said that he had left a film because of the intimacy clause. The actress told that she was not ready to do bold scenes.

Film rejected due to ‘intimacy clause’
Actually, Niharika NM, who is preparing for her upcoming film ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ with Raghav Juyal, started her journey as a content creator. However, in a recent interview he told that making funny reels and sketches was not his ultimate objective. She wanted to act, but as a new artiste in Bollywood, this journey was difficult. He also told that he had rejected a film because of the ‘intimacy clause’ in the film.
My theater background: Niharika
She told that, when I went to Bombay three-four years ago, I trained for three years with a production house. I went to film school and also have a theater background. The actress further said, I wanted to try my hand in acting. I didn’t know how long this journey would be or what I really wanted to do. All I knew was that I was very interested in it and I enjoyed it.
Don’t like standards set for women
Niharika said that but, soon I decided to give up the struggle to get work in Bollywood and started giving auditions in South cinema. She said that I first tried in Hindi films, but I did not like the standards set for women. Like how they should look or what color their skin should be. I felt this was not the place where I should struggle.
Worked in films of different languages
Later, Niharika NM signed a three-film contract with Karthik Subbaraj’s production house, Stone Bench Films. He further said that but while training with him, I refused some very good films of the South, which did wonders at the box office. I couldn’t believe it. I was bound by contract. This will remain one of my biggest regrets. But whoever did those films, I am happy for them. However, once the contract ended, there was no stopping me. Then I worked a lot in films of different languages.
Pressure created for intimacy seat
Niharika Anam said that but, this was also a difficult path, because she did not want to do intimate scenes on-screen. There were many reasons for being rejected from films. Now everything seems funny. He told that there was a special film which I had to do. He was making a very good director. I grew up watching him. He had specially chosen me. I had auditioned for that role. Look test was also done.
The actress told that the contract was sent to my house and I had signed it. There was a condition related to intimacy and I had told them that I was not comfortable doing intimacy on-screen. He was ready for this and was planning to move ahead with the body double. But the actor was not ready to do the scene with the body double. He had no interest in it. This was his decision. Then the situation became such that either do this or that.
‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ will release on July 30
Niharika NM made her international debut in 2023 with a guest voice role in season 7 of the American sitcom ‘Big Mouth’. He also debuted in the South film industry last year with the Tamil film ‘Perusu’, which was followed by films like ‘Mitra Mandali’ and ‘Hridayam Murali’. His upcoming film ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’, which is releasing in theaters on July 30. Vivek B. Sanjay Kapoor and Nikki Walia also play important roles in this comedy-drama film directed by Aggarwal.
