Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in “Bharat Tex-2026” organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. He held a round table meeting here with leading textile investors, industry representatives and global brands from India and abroad. He informed the investors about the investment-friendly policies of Madhya Pradesh, the immense potential of the textile sector and the facilities available for industries.
Chief Minister Yadav Said that last year also we had participated in this event. This year its aura has further brightened. With the cooperation of the Union Textile Ministry, Madhya Pradesh is increasing both textile production and employment in this sector by better managing the resources available in the textile and garment sector. The economy of the state is being strengthened by the textile industry.
Industrialists have capital of experience
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Modi has laid the foundation stone of the country’s first PM Mitra Park in Dhar district. This will provide employment to 3 lakh people directly and indirectly and will provide huge benefits to more than 6 lakh cotton producing farmers of Malwa-Nimar region. Access from PM Mitra Park, farms to factories and from here to the garment industry and the global market will be easy.
He said that Madhya Pradesh is ready to move with the Central Government and global brands. Our officials definitely explained the policy to the investors, but the entrepreneurs present here have a huge wealth of experience in their sweat. The statements of the industrialists are motivating the state government to move forward faster.
The beauty of diversity in India
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that electricity auction was held in the past. Based on that, it is true that at present the cheapest electricity is available anywhere in the world, then it is available in Madhya Pradesh. Here we have electricity on water and also electricity from water. He linked the matter of textile to the period of King Vikramaditya. Maharani Ahilyabai created the Maheshwari saree brand.
Through this he worried about the income of the weavers. Like Maheshwari, Chanderi saree is also a brand. There is beauty in diversity in our country. People of North India and South India also enjoy Banarasi saree. Similarly, when we go to Bihar, there is a demand for Bhagalpuri clothes. The importance that Kanjivaram saree has in South India is the same in the whole of India. We have linked economy with life.
Government taking care of investors
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has fulfilled all its promises made to industrialists and investors. The amount of their entitlement in the form of subsidy has been transferred to industrialists and investors in all sectors through DBT. By giving the amount, the state government has extinguished all the liabilities till May 2026. The state government has given an amount of about Rs 5500 crore as subsidy to industrialists in one and a half years.
Inviting the industrialists and investors to set up their industries in Madhya Pradesh, he said that once one comes to Madhya Pradesh, he remains there. Hriday Pradesh is welcoming all the industrialists. He said that Madhya Pradesh has made remarkable achievements in the green energy sector. There is adequate availability of electricity generated from solar and pumped storage in the state. The cheapest electricity is available in Madhya Pradesh, due to which the operation of the industry has become easier.
