
An important meeting of prominent saints and sages is going to be held in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday i.e. today at 2:30 pm. Big saints and Mahants of Ayodhya will participate in this meeting to be held in Maniram Das Cantonment complex. Besides, senior officials of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will also participate in it.
According to sources, the main agenda of the meeting includes maintaining the trust of devotees after the recent incident of theft of offerings in the Ram temple, discussion on the public image of Ayodhya and issues related to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. About 250 to 300 saints are expected to attend this meeting. Amidst the recent developments related to Ayodhya and Ram temple, this meeting of saints is considered important from both political and religious point of view.
These officers of the union will be included
It is being told that senior officials of the Sangh, like Joint General Secretary Dr. Krishna Gopal and former General Secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi may attend the meeting. Apart from this, area campaigner Anil, province campaigner Kaushal, province campaign head Ganga and co-province campaigner Manoj Kant are already present in Ayodhya.
Opinion of saint community given priority
According to sources, the meeting will focus on recent developments related to the Ram Mandir Trust and the opinion of the saint community will be given priority. Some saints may also support the action taken so far. At the same time, the religious committee recently formed by the Trust and the already angry saints have to be included in it. It is being seen as an initiative to promote better interaction with the saint community.
Some saints may express their opinion in support of Champat Rai
According to sources, VHP and Sangh have contacted the saints of Ayodhya on a large scale. In the meeting, emphasis will be laid on gaining the support of the saint community for the Ram Mandir Trust and ensuring maximum participation of the saints. There is also speculation that some saints may publicly speak in support of Trust General Secretary Champat Rai.
