More than a month has passed since the Ram Temple offering theft case, but those who are in question. Whose accountability is clearly established on the offerings made by innumerable devotees. The way in which the clarification has been given by them till now also raises new questions in itself. We are talking about Govind Dev Giri, Treasurer of Ram Mandir Trust.
As can be understood from the name, Govind Dev Giri has the entire responsibility of the funds of Ram Temple. But amidst many new information coming out on the theft of offerings, the same Govind Dev Giri held a press conference and what he said is surprising. He said that Champat Rai was careless. I have said this but Champat Rai had also entrusted this work to our second trustee Anil Mishra and he was looking after this work.
This was carelessness on their part also. I will ask SIT why this was done? Why would I resign? SIT is not a court. SIT is the investigation committee. These are topics for speaking in court. Personally, I should repent, I am doing that every day in my puja. I am doing special chanting and recitation of stotras etc. for him every day. In the place where this happened, it is a crime against God and hence rituals have been started there for the purification of faults and sins, for which arrangements have been made with 70 pundits.
Atonement instead of accountability, who will answer the questions?
So instead of accountability, atonement is being done. Through worship and rituals. This is the reason why Govind Dev Giri held a press conference. There are many questions to answer, but his words are raising new questions. The first question is why Govind Dev Giri is not held accountable as the treasurer of the trust? Second question- Will the stains of theft of Ram temple offerings be washed away by performing pujas and rituals? Third question- If Champat Rai and all the members kept making mistakes, then what was Govind Giri himself doing? Fourth question- Will Govind Giri escape his own accountability by raising questions on the other members of the trust? Fifth question- Does Treasurer Govind Dev Giri not trust the SIT investigation?
Now land scam is also being discussed
So those who answer the questions are themselves surrounded by questions. And it was not just about stealing offerings. Now the land scam is also being discussed. The next series of questions on the trust is related to the allegations of rigging in land purchase. Two cases have been exposed. Both surprising in their own right. Nazul has land in one purchase. So the second purchase was of Devottara property. Accusations of usurping it are also being made. Former kar sevak Santosh Dubey also handed over many evidences in this regard to the SIT.
bought nazul land
First of all let us tell you about the purchase of Nazul land. This is the place near Sugriva Tila in Ayodhya which was purchased by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. This land with gate number 247 is near the exit gate of the temple. The deal was finalized for more than Rs 23 crore and the land was purchased by the Trust. The question is, Nazul land belongs to the government only. It cannot be bought or sold, then how was this deal done.
Chief of Hindu Dharma Army surrounded Champat
Now let us give you information on the claims of Santosh Dubey related to the purchase of Nazul’s land. Let us understand what this is all about. Hindu Dharma Sena chief Santosh Dubey says that Nazul land can neither be sold nor bought. Champat Rai bought that land from Muralidas for Rs 23 crores. What right did Nazul have on the land? You didn’t have to do this work. This is a big scam.
Devottara property also purchased
Similarly, divine property also cannot be bought or sold. But this work was also done by the Trust. Santosh Dubey of Hindu Dharma Sena has made such allegation. Quoting Hari Shankar Safriwala of Ayodhya, he claimed that the then officials of Ram Mandir Trust captured the ancient Ram Niwas temple by preparing fake documents. Today the camp office of the trust has been built on the same land.
