How much wealth does Prashant Kishore have? Information revealed for the first time in the election affidavit

Jansuraj Party founder Prashant Kishore is contesting for the first time in the Bankipur assembly by-election. He has filed his nomination from Jansuraj Party. Prashant Kishor In the affidavit filed at the time of filing nomination, it has been revealed that his total assets are around Rs 198 crore. His net worth includes the declared assets of his wife and one dependent.

In the election affidavit, Prashant Kishore Has declared movable family assets worth Rs 111.78 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 86.29 crore. The total assets disclosed include financial portfolios like fixed deposits, mutual funds and bonds as well as a rice mill and 475 grams of gold. Prashant Kishore’s wife is Jhanvi Das, who is a medical practitioner from Assam.

According to the election affidavit, a total of 4 cases are registered against Prashant Kishore. A case has been filed in Sadar police station of Saharsa, while one case each is going on against him in different courts of Muzaffarpur, Patna and Bettiah.

After filing his nomination papers, Kishor told reporters, “This is not just my ‘nomination’ but an appeal for political change in Bihar, where people with criminal records should give up their seats.”

Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) founder Prashant Kishore had formed Jan Suraj Party about two years ago. Reached the Collectorate with a procession, which started from Dak Bungalow Crossing, about a kilometer away. Earlier in the day, he addressed a public meeting at a ground near the police lines.

Before filing his nomination papers, Kishore offered prayers at Baba Hariharnath temple in Sonpur. Later, he went to the Collectorate with a large number of supporters and party workers from the Scout Guide Ground near Sinha Library in Patna and filed his nomination papers.
