Delhi High Court has refused to immediately hear the PIL alleging excessive use of police force during the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) Parliament march. The petition has alleged that during the CJP march on Monday (July 20), Delhi Police used excessive force on the protesters.

5 FIRs registered, police examining video footage
According to Delhi Police, 5 FIRs have been registered so far in connection with the violence, stone pelting and vandalism that took place during the Sansad Chalo march of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). FIRs have been registered in Connaught Place, Parliament Street and other police stations. Officials are identifying the accused with the help of video footage of the areas where the violence took place. More than 250 videos are being investigated in this case. The investigation will also find out whether any miscreant has any criminal record.
