After the success of ‘Rakh’, now director Prosit Roy is preparing for his next project. He will work on a ‘psychological love story’ in collaboration with filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. According to the information, Prosit Roy was looking for a story of his favorite genre, but a little different, which will now be fulfilled by this new project.

Shooting will start this year
According to the information, this film of Karan Johar’s production is currently in the development stage. Information is also coming out that soon the process of star casting will start and the shooting of this psychological love story film will be started by the end of this year.
Prosit gets known for thriller project
Apart from ‘Rakh’, director Prosit Roy has also made ‘Paatal Lok’, this was also a crime thriller which was very much liked by the audience. Apart from this, he directed Pari (Pari – 2018) which was a supernatural horror thriller movie. Anushka Sharma was seen in this. Apart from this, Prosit Roy has also directed Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Chakda Express’.

Karan Johar has earlier praised ‘Rakh’ a lot. He had shared a long post from his Instagram account. Talking about the star cast of this series, actors like Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre, Aamir Bashir, Akash Makhija, Rakesh Bedi have been seen in it.

Recent Projects of Dharma Productions
Talking about the recent project of Karan Johar’s production company Dharma, ‘Zindagi Once More’ was released in theaters on 19 June 2026, which is a Gujarati film. With this, Dharma Productions has made its debut in Gujarati cinema. Apart from this, Ananya Pandey and Lakshya starrer romantic drama ‘Chand Mera Dil’ is also released in 2026.
