July 26, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra organized the program “Yuva Samvad (Gen-Z with Modi)” on Sunday. In this, about 50 young students pursuing higher education in different universities and colleges of Delhi and some parents accompanying them participated. In this interactive session, the growth and expansion of universities and higher education institutions in India between 2014 to 2026, as well as the removal of some non-essential chapters from the syllabus and inclusion of subjects of national importance were discussed. The students also expressed their consent by signing a pledge with Harsh Malhotra.

Apart from this, the youth expressed their views on the protest organized by CJP at Jantar Mantar. Giving several arguments, he called this protest unfair and said that any movement should be inspired by positive thinking which unites the country and society. He alleged that anti-Hindu and anti-national things were said during the protests, which are harmful for national unity and social harmony.

Medical education system changed after 2014

Harsh Malhotra said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has seen considerable expansion in the medical education and healthcare sector since 2014. Before 2014, there were 11 AIIMS institutes in the country, whereas today this number has increased to 23. Similarly, the number of medical colleges has increased from 387 to 766. The number of MBBS seats has also increased from 51,348 to 115,812, i.e. an increase of 64,464 seats.

The number of postgraduate (PG) seats has also increased from 31,185 to 73,111. These figures show that today there are more opportunities available for the youth of the country in medical education than before. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the youth of the country are playing an important role in building a ‘New India’ with confidence. Conversational programs like ‘Yuva Samvad (Gen-Z with Modi)’ give the youth a platform to express their opinions and openly express their views on matters related to nation-building.

Youth will play an important role

Malhotra said that today’s new generation is aware and wants to express its views on every topic based on logic and facts. The ideas, energy and creative thinking of the youth will play an important role in realizing the vision of a developed India. He stressed the need to move towards constructive dialogue and nation-building, instead of misleading the youth of the country or creating division in the society. Today the youth of India are moving forward with the determination to create a developed and self-reliant India.
