Bihar: Anant Singh-Gunjan granted bail after surrender in Gopalganj court, know in which case they got relief

Mokama’s strong MLA Anant Singh and Bhojpuri singer-actor Gunjan Singh surrendered in the civil court in an Arms Act case in Gopalganj, Bihar. As soon as both of them reached the court, security arrangements were tightened in the court premises and additional police force was deployed.

Actually, this case was registered in Mirganj police station on 2nd and 3rd May. It is being told that after the surrender, the court granted bail to both of them. After coming out of the court, Anant Singh said that he was implicated in this case as part of a political conspiracy. Expressing confidence in the judiciary, he said that he has got justice from the court.

There was a stir in the Civil Court premises in Bihar’s Gopalganj on Monday when Mokama MLA Anant Singh and Bhojpuri singer and actor Gunjan Singh reached the court with their supporters. Both of them surrendered in the court following the legal procedure in a case related to the Arms Act.

As soon as the information about both of them reaching the court was received, security arrangements were tightened. To deal with any untoward situation, additional police force was deployed in the court premises and special vigil was kept on the visitors. Due to the crowd of supporters, there was a lot of activity in the court premises for some time.

Got bail after surrender

According to the information, in the Arms Act case against Anant Singh and Gunjan Singh, the court had directed to ensure the presence of both, after which both of them themselves appeared in the court on Friday and surrendered. After the surrender, arguments from both sides were heard in the court. After the hearing, the court granted bail to both of them, which provided them immediate relief.

What did Anant say after getting relief from the court?

Talking to the media after coming out of the court, MLA Anant Singh termed the allegations against him as baseless and said that he has been implicated in this case as part of a political conspiracy. He said that the court has given its verdict on the basis of facts and law and he has full faith in the Indian judicial system. During this entire incident, there were tight security arrangements in the court premises and the police administration appeared completely alert.

Discussion started in political and legal circles

At the same time, after this action of surrender and bail, this matter once again became a topic of discussion in political and legal circles. At present, Anant Singh and Gunjan Singh have got a big relief after getting bail from the court. However, the legal process of this case related to the Arms Act will continue and everyone’s eyes will be on the upcoming hearing.
