
The nomination of BJP candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha for the Bankipur Assembly by-election has increased the temperature of Bihar politics. During nomination, BJP and NDA demonstrated their strength in the capital Patna. A grand road show, presence of thousands of workers and unity of top NDA leaders was visible.
In the presence of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, BJP State President Sanjay Saraogi, MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, JDU State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha, LJP (Ram Vilas) State President Raju Tiwari, HAM State President Anil Kumar and Rashtriya Lok Morcha State President Alok Kumar and many senior NDA leaders, Neeraj Kumar Sinha reached Patna Collectorate and filed his nomination papers.
Mega road show organized
Before nomination, the huge road show taken out from BJP office to Collectorate was the main attraction of the entire program. Riding on a specially designed attractive chariot Neeraj Kumar Sinha And top leaders of NDA were seen greeting the public. The road show reached the collectorate via Dakbungalow intersection, SP Verma Road, Youth Hostel, Biskoman, Kargil Chowk and Gandhi Maidan police station.
The political atmosphere of the capital appeared completely saffron with BJP flags, banners and lotus symbols displayed throughout the route. Thousands of workers participated in the road show on foot and on motorcycles. The entire area echoed with slogans like “Bharat Mata ki Jai”, “Vande Mataram” and “Kamal will bloom again in Bankipur”. At many places people also welcomed the leaders by showering flowers.
Battle of reputation for BJP
Before nomination, Neeraj Kumar Sinha took blessings by offering prayers at the temple located in Rajvanshi Nagar. After this, after reaching Naveen Sinha Park, he offered floral tributes to the statue of late Naveen Sinha and talked about carrying forward his resolve of public service.
Political experts believe that Bankipur by-election is no longer just an election for one assembly seat, but it has also become a test of the political strength of NDA and the challenge of the opposition. On one hand, BJP is in the electoral fray with the help of its organization and government’s achievements, while on the other hand, the opposition is also preparing to exert its full strength on this seat.
Election battle punished in Bankipur
BJP leaders claimed that the crowd gathered during nomination is a symbol of public trust and support. The party says that due to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and the developmental policies of the NDA government, the lotus is going to bloom once again in Bankipur.
Now with the nomination, the election battle of Bankipur is fully prepared. The campaign will intensify in the coming days and this by-election seems to be moving towards becoming the most talked about contest in Bihar politics.
