Before the monsoon session of Parliament, a meeting of the rebel MPs who rebelled against TMC and merged with NCPI was held on Sunday. In this meeting, the Parliamentary Party of NCPI met regarding the strategy during the session. After this meeting, NCPI Parliamentary Committee leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay claimed that the MPs of his group have been allotted separate seats in the Lok Sabha. Along with this, he made it clear that they will support NDA. Earlier, NCPI MPs were called by the government to the all-party meeting. These MPs attended the meeting. In protest against which the opposition had staged a walkout.
While talking to ANI, Sudip Bandyopadhyay said that today for the first time NCPI Parliamentary party meeting took place. This meeting was most important for us. Our seat allotment, division numbers and separate blocks have all been taken for granted. Accordingly, each member has been told separately what their previous numbers were and what are the new allotted numbers.
NCPI MPs will support NDA
He said that we have decided to extend our support to the NDA government and whatever issues will be put up for discussion, we will participate in them.

He said that we have also decided that we still believe that the House should function, and if any member in the state of West Bengal faces any difficulty related to his constituency, we will take up the matter with the Chief Minister of West Bengal. No need to be taken to Delhi to manage those issues
He further said, “I met the Prime Minister yesterday and it was an hour-long, one-to-one discussion. I also told the Prime Minister that the MPs who have come and joined should take some initiative and give instructions to the NDA that they are new. They should be taken into confidence and made to feel that they have become partners of the NDA.
NCPI MPs got separate seats in Lok Sabha
He said that the Prime Minister agreed completely, very politely and decided that he would narrate the discussion between me and him. He said that I also met Amit Shah twice in the last two days. He was equally excited about having a total of 20 MPs, and ultimately NCPI has now emerged as the second largest party in the NDA, but the issue that our previous party had raised was the cancellation of membership of all the 20 members, with separate applications against each MP.
He said that even today they boycotted the meeting of all-party leaders because we were called to the meeting, and today the entire opposition walked out together. Now we are completely free from all these tensions and now NCPI will work in the House the way the House wants. NDA will take decisions.
