Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Dipke made a big allegation of attack on Sonam Wangchuk on Saturday night. Dipke claimed that during the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar, some people tried to attack social activist Sonam Wangchuk who was on hunger strike. According to Abhijeet Dipke, a stone was thrown towards Sonam Wangchuk, although she was not injured.
In fact, Abhijeet Dipke said in his post on social media on Saturday night that a few days ago I had warned that an attempt would be made to stop the protest. Dipke said that if anything happens to Sonam Wangchuk, the responsibility will be on the government. Sonam Wangchuk’s fast has reached its 21st day with many demands including the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the paper leak case.
Today, there were multiple incidents where people created disturbances, yet the police failed to respond for hours.
By allowing this to continue, they are enabling attempts to disrupt what has remained a peaceful protest. https://t.co/bDfppmtedE
