
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today distributed appointment letters to 516 employees of the Forest Department. On this occasion, he said that this decision should have been taken many years ago, but the previous governments gave priority to their political and family interests instead of the welfare of the employees.
CM Bhagwant Mann Said that previous governments were busy installing their leaders and families, while thousands of employees were waiting for regularization. Now the same leaders are roaming among the common people after losing the trust of the public.
Ceremony organized in Mohali
The Punjab government has announced the regularization of 516 long-term employees of the Forest and Wildlife Conservation Department. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann distributed appointment letters to these employees in a function organized in Mohali. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister said that all of them are now permanent government employees and will be entitled to all the benefits prescribed by the government.
The Chief Minister said that this decision should have been taken many years ago, but previous governments gave priority to their political and family interests rather than the welfare of the employees. Government teams are working continuously
Chief Minister Mann said that the process of regularizing employees in other departments is going on. He said that some cases are getting delayed due to court cases, but government teams are continuously working on it. The employees will be regularized in the coming days as soon as the legal complications are resolved.
Making an important announcement regarding environmental protection, the Chief Minister said that on the occasion of the 650th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji, 65 lakh saplings will be planted in every district of Punjab and a historic target has been set to plant a total of 50 crore new saplings in the state.
