Airtel plan of ₹ 549 discontinued, now you will have to spend this much money

Telecom company Airtel has discontinued the Rs 549 individual postpaid plan, leaving only Rs 449 entry-level individual postpaid option in the company’s postpaid portfolio. After Rs 449, now you will have the next option of Rs 699 plan. This means that the budget of those people who were buying the Rs 549 plan and are not able to make use of the Rs 449 plan is going to get spoiled because now you will be forced to choose the Rs 699 plan, this is a clear sign of tariff hike.

There has been no official announcement from the company, but till the time of writing the news, the postpaid plan of Rs 549 is not visible on the company’s website. According to Telecom Talk, this plan has also been removed from the company’s Airtel Thanks app.

Individual Plan: Joe Customer Airtel Those who want a postpaid connection now have an individual plan of Rs 449 per month plus GCAT as an entry-level option.
Family Plan: Family plan at Rs 699 per month plus GST, which includes one primary and one add-on SIM connection.

The Rs 449 plan includes unlimited 4G and 5G data along with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. Apart from this, you get access to 100 SMS every day and fast lane technology with 5G slicing. Security features include fraud link blocking, spam protection and OTP alerts.

The price of this family plan for 2 people is Rs 699 per month plus GST which is approximately Rs 350 for each member. This plan includes 2 SIMs (1 primary + 1 add-on) and offers unlimited 4G and 5G data, as well as unlimited local, STD and roaming calls to all members.

Apart from this, benefits like 100 SMS per day, fast lane technology with 5G slicing, Amazon Prime Mobile subscription for 6 months, Google One (100GB cloud storage) for 6 months, JioHotstar Mobile subscription for 1 year, Airtel Xstream Play Premium for 3 months and Adobe Express Premium for 12 months are available. Security and convenience features include fraud link blocking, spam protection, OTP alerts, free Hello Tunes and Blue Ribbon Bag tracking service.
