Will Sarabjit Kaur, who married a Pakistani, be sent to India? The case reached Lahore HC

A new update has emerged in the case of Sarabjit Kaur of Kapurthala, Punjab, who went missing after going to Pakistan with an Indian religious group, converted her religion and got married. Former member of Pakistan Punjab Assembly, Mahinder Pal Singh has filed a petition in Lahore High Court demanding that Sarabjit Kaur be arrested and sent back to India soon.

In the petition, the High Court has been told that Sarabjit Kaur (48) had come to Pakistan from India with about 2000 Indian Sikh pilgrims earlier this month but after reaching here she suddenly went missing.

Serious matter related to national security

The petitioner claims that she may be involved in suspicious activities and she also has a criminal record in India. His stay in Pakistan after the expiry of his visa period has been described as a serious matter related to national security.

Came to Pakistan with Sikh pilgrims

Actually Sarabjit Kaur had come to Pakistan from India with the Sikh pilgrims of Nankana Sahib. On November 13, all the pilgrims returned to India but Sarabjit Kaur did not return. After investigation, it was found that she had married Nasir Hussain, a resident of Sheikhupura, on November 4 and she had also changed her name before marriage.

According to the information, on the day of the pilgrimage to Nankana Sahib, she separated from the group and went to Sheikhupura with Hussain. Meanwhile, Sarabjit Kaur and Nasir Hussain have also filed a petition in the court alleging that the police is pressurizing them to end their marriage. Sarabjit Kaur said that she is divorced. She knew Hussain on social media for nine years and willingly came to Pakistan and got married. He has also applied for visa extension and Pakistani citizenship.
