The winter session of Parliament has started. Vice President’s CP This is Radhakrishnan’s first session as Rajya Sabha Chairman. On the first day of the Vice President’s House, all the MPs including Prime Minister Modi welcomed him and wished him good luck for his future responsibilities. But Congress Rajya Sabha LoP Mallikarjun Kharge said something in his welcome that created an uproar.
Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Today, on my own behalf and on behalf of all the opposition members, I stand up to heartily congratulate you on assuming the post of Chairman of the Rajya Sabha.” While remembering former Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, Kharge said that I hope you will not feel bad that I have to mention your predecessor’s sudden departure from the office of Rajya Sabha Chairman.
Kharge said, “The Chairman, being the custodian of the entire House, belongs to the opposition as much as to the government. I am saddened that the House did not get a chance to bid him farewell. Nevertheless, on behalf of the entire opposition, I wish him well.” BJP got angry on this comment of Kharge and its MPs started opposing Kharge’s statement.

Maintain the dignity of the honor program – JP Nadda
Responding to Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the House JP Nadda said, “We should maintain the dignity of the felicitation programme, and it would be good if we discuss it accordingly. If we start discussing the issue that our leader of opposition raised today, the farewell, and all the other topics, then I think it is meaningless.”

Nadda further said that it will also be discussed from here that you brought a no-confidence motion against him not once but twice. I think our opposition leaders are very respectable. You have felt a lot of pain due to the defeat in Bihar, Haryana and Maharashtra. But you should tell your pain and suffering to a doctor.
Kiren Rijiju reminded Congress on no-confidence motion
Responding to Mallikarjun Kharge’s comments on former Vice President Dhankhar, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “I just want to remind the House that you have forgotten what language you used to insult the former Vice President and the former Chairman. The bad words you used about the former Chairman. A copy of the removal motion you gave is still with us.”
Let us tell you that today Congress President CP Radhakrishnan is raising the issue of not getting respect for Jagdeep Dhankhar in his last days. But when Dhankhar was the chairman, the Congress party had brought motion against him twice. Of which BJP leaders have reminded the Congress President.
