These days, a video is being discussed a lot on social media in which a young man’s different kind of jugaad is attracting everyone’s attention. In the video he shows how he took an old sack and made a T-shirt from it. Not only this, he also went straight to Connaught Place, a popular and expensive area of Delhi, to sell it. People are surprised to see his experiment and are also appreciating his thinking.
In the video, the boy tells that initially instead of choosing any ordinary sack, he took such a sack which could be cut into the shape of a T-shirt. Then he took it to a tailor in his area. The tailor opened the sack and made a T-shirt pattern from it. Since the sack could feel a bit rough to wear, a soft lining was placed inside so that the wearer would not feel uncomfortable. When the sewing and design of the sack was ready, the boy himself became happy to see that the ordinary sack had now taken the form of a wearable cloth.
How was this T-shirt prepared?
After the T-shirt was ready, he decided to go to Connaught Place without any shame or hesitation. Amidst the crowd, glitter and expensive brands, he started searching for a buyer with his sack T-shirt. In the beginning, as often happens, many people laughed at him. Some also said that who would wear sack cloth? Many passersby moved ahead just by looking at him. Still he did not stop and kept talking to people smiling.
Slowly the atmosphere started changing. Some people stopped to listen to him. He told that this T-shirt is completely made from old sacks and through this he wants to show that things can be reused and transformed into new forms. People found his thinking interesting. Not only some Indians, but even tourists stopped to look at the T-shirt. Many liked it as a fashion item with a distinct appeal. They were looking at it not just as clothes but as an idea.

In the video, the boy also tells that it cost him about three hundred and fifty rupees to get it ready. However, in Connaught Place he sold this T-shirt for about three and a half thousand rupees. Meaning, he got more than ten times the profit on one T-shirt. People were even more surprised to hear that people were buying a T-shirt made from a sack with so much enthusiasm.
This video has increased people’s curiosity on social media. Many users are not tired of praising him. Some called it an example of increasing creative thinking in the country. As much as people’s attention was drawn to his T-shirt, it was also to his courage and hard work. He neither stopped to think about what people would say nor did he step back when made fun of. He saw his experiment as an opportunity and its result was in front of him.
