Keeping in mind the safety and health of the students, the timings of all schools from classes 1 to 12 in the capital Lucknow have been changed.
According to the information, in view of the increasing cold wave in Lucknow, now classes from classes 1 to 12 in all recognized board-run schools will start only after 9 am. An order in this regard has been issued by the district administration. District Magistrate Visakh ji. Has issued this order. The DM has given clear instructions to ensure that this order is strictly followed.
Instructions to strictly follow the order
According to the order issued by Lucknow District Magistrate Visakh ji on Wednesday (17 December), this decision will be equally applicable to schools of all boards CBSE, ICSE and UP Board. He has given instructions to ensure strict compliance with the order. The order has also been uploaded on the official website of the District Magistrate’s office.

This time will remain in effect till further orders
According to the district administration, this decision has been taken giving priority to the health and safety of the students, so that the children do not have to face any kind of trouble or risk due to cold and fog. All schools have been asked to strictly follow the timings. If any violation of the order is found, strict action will be taken. This time will remain in force till further orders.
Continuous drop in temperature in Lucknow

Decisions given due to cold in other districts also
In Bareilly, holiday has been declared in all board schools from class 1 to 8 till December 20. In Barabanki, the timings of schools from class 1 to 8 have been changed from 10 am to 3 pm. In Badaun, all schools up to class 8 will now open from 10 am. In Rampur also, the District Magistrate has declared a three-day holiday for children up to class eight.
