Uttar Pradesh: Madani is provoking Muslims… Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi criticized Maulana Mahmood’s statement

In the meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, Maulana Mahmood Madani raised questions about the decisions of the Supreme Court and said that decisions are being taken under the pressure of the government and it is not appropriate to call the Supreme Court ‘Supreme’. He also said that whenever there is oppression, there will be jihad. There has been an uproar over this statement of Madani. At the same time, the reaction of National President of All India Muslim Jamaat, Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi has also come to light on this matter.

Razvi condemned the statement of Maulana Mahmood Madani on Saturday (29 November) and said that Madani’s statement is going to divide the society, confuse the country and instigate Muslims. He said, ‘Muslims have faith not only in the Supreme Court but in all the courts. Parliament works for the interests of the people, we also have faith in this, no government works against the interests of the people, every government works for the welfare of the people within the ambit of the Constitution.

‘Madani is provoking the Muslims of the country’

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi said that crores of Muslims of India respect the decisions given by the Supreme Court. He said that Maulana Madani is provoking the Muslims of the country. Razvi said that at present there is peace and tranquility in India, Maulana Madani wants to spoil this atmosphere of peace.

Shahabuddin Razvi further said, ‘I strongly condemn the statement of Maulana Madani, and appeal to the Muslims of India to protect themselves from such outrageous statements, and do not pay attention to controversial statements and statements that break the society.

What did Maulana Mahmood Madani say?

In fact, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind chief Maulana Mahmood Madani, in a program in Bhopal, expressed strong objection to the misuse of the word Jihad and the increasing negative connotations against Muslims. In the National Governing Body meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, he said that the enemies of Islam and Muslims have converted the sacred ideas of Islam like Jihad into words associated with misuse, disturbance and violence. He said that the word Jihad of Islam has been made a synonym of abuse. Religion is being insulted.

‘Whenever there is oppression, there will be jihad’

Mahmood Madani said that whenever there is oppression, there will be jihad. He said that for the past few years, especially after the decisions in Babri Masjid, Triple Talaq and many other cases, it seems that the courts have been working under the pressure of the government. He said that the Supreme Court is entitled to be called Supreme only as long as it implements the Constitution, if it does not do so then it is morally not entitled to be called Supreme.
