Aam Aadmi Party says that a shortage has been felt in Goa for a long time, health services were not able to reach every household. People had to go to big hospitals in the city even for minor illnesses. Apart from time, money and expensive medicines, treatment had become a stress for common people. Governments came and went, many speeches and promises were made, but the diseases and problems of the people remained the same.
You According to this, our party took a different and grassroots step. Our mission is – treatment should reach the public, not the public to the hospital. With this thinking in mind, health camps were organized on a large scale in Goa, where treatment reached the people directly. Today the picture has completely changed. More than 800 health camps were organized, and more than 20,000 patients were treated free or at very low cost.

Not publicity, but demonstrated action
AAP says our mission is – no long lines, no recommendations, straight treatment, straight people. AAP also targeted the BJP government. You said that BJP talked a lot about the budget and announcements, but the public did not get any benefit. Doctors were never found, medicines were never found, in many places the journey to the hospital was long.
On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party did not campaign but worked. And this work can now be felt in every locality and village. People tell when health camps are held, what treatment is available, which medicine is available for free. What was once a fantasy is now a reality.
Low trust in government health system
Now politics in Goa is not based on slogans but on direct experience. Earlier, steps for treatment used to be taken after careful consideration, now relief is available just a few steps away from home. Trust in the government health system was broken, but the health camp has revived that trust. This is the reason why the atmosphere seems to have changed before the Panchayat elections, people are saying for the first time that change is not just on paper but has come into their lives.
You said that Goa is gradually beginning to understand that real politics is that which makes life easier. The importance of the government is visible only when treatment is available, tests are free, medicines are available and the disease does not become a burden. Today thousands of families are feeling this same change. Panchayat elections are near, and the discussion is no longer on speeches and posters but on work. People are saying that the one who takes the treatment to home, trust is only on him.
