CM Stalin announced compensation
Here, Chief Minister MK Stalin has expressed grief over the accident. He met District Collector and District Incharge Minister K.R. Periakaruppan has been directed to provide all possible assistance to the affected people and ensure proper treatment of the injured. The CM also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 3 lakh each to the families of the victims and Rs 1 lakh each to the seriously injured. At the same time, it has been announced to give Rs 50,000 to the slightly injured people. The CM expressed his condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.

This is the second major bus collision in Tamil Nadu within a week. On Monday (23 November 2025), two buses collided head-on in Tenkasi district of the state. In which 6 people died, while more than 50 passengers were injured.
