The first phase of local body elections in Maharashtra will be held on Tuesday. In this, voting will be held for 264 city councils and nagar panchayats. These elections will decide the fate of 6705 members and 264 chairpersons of local bodies (Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat). Counting of votes will take place on December 3.
