Naksha, released in 2006, was presented as an adventure-thriller. The story of the film was based on the search for treasure and a mysterious map, starring Sunny Deol along with Vivek Oberoi, Jackie Shroff and Sameera Reddy. Seeing the huge sets, shooting in the jungles and heavy action sequences, it seemed at first that the film will present something new. But the biggest weakness of the film was its weak story and loose screenplay. The audience did not understand what the film wanted to say. Despite a budget of crores of rupees, the film went into decline from the first week in theatres. This film, made with great expectations, proved to be a huge failure at the box office and became a big setback in Sunny Deol’s career.

Fool N Final
Fool N Final, released in 2007, had such a long list of actors that it seemed that the film would make the audience laugh a lot. Many big names including Shahid Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Sunny Deol, Ayesha Takia were involved in it. The film was presented by mixing comedy and action. But the story was so scattered that the audience itself could not understand what was happening on the screen. The jokes seemed forced and the connection between the scenes was very weak. Although the film made initial earnings, the results were very poor as per the budget. Even big actors could not save the weak script of the film and this film also got included in the list of disasters.

Nihal who speaks
Jo Bole So Nihaal was an action-comedy, this film was released in 2005. But it got embroiled in controversies as soon as it was released. From hurting religious sentiments to the non-seriousness of the story, the film came under criticism everywhere. Sunny Deol’s acting was good, but the script, screenplay and presentation of the film were so weak that the audience did not enjoy any scene. At many places the film was shown excessively and it started appearing less like a comedy and more like a ruckus. The result was that the film flopped badly at the box office and proved to be one of the most disappointing films of Sunny Deol’s career.

poster boys
The idea of the film Poster Boys, released in 2017, was very unique. The story of three common men, who suddenly appear on government posters regarding sterilization, sounds interesting. The first half of the film was fine, but later the story slowed down. The pairing of Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol also could not make the audience laugh as much as was expected. The film’s earnings gradually kept falling and in the end even the budget could not be made. This film clearly proves that a good concept alone is not enough, it is also important to show it in a good way.

bhaiyaji superhit
Bhaiyyaji Superhit, released in the year 2018, is one of those films of Sunny Deol, whose budget was in crores but the earnings were negligible. He played a double role in the film and actors like Preity Zinta, Arshad Warsi were also present. Despite this, the story of the film seemed so complicated and old-fashioned that the audience completely ignored it. The comedy seemed forced and the action also did not leave its impact. The film initially raised hopes, but disappeared from theaters within a few days. It was considered a big box office disaster.
