262 youth from North Kashmir have created a new history by joining the Indian Army. 262 youth from Baramulla and Bandipora districts took part in the passing-out parade of the Indian Army. The father of a soldier from Kupwara, who himself has retired from the Army, expressed his happiness and proudly said, ‘I myself have retired from the Army. Happy that my values and my blood are now moving forward. He said that earlier the children in our area used to pick up stones in a misguided manner, but today they are holding rifles. He said that this is the real effect of the removal of Article 370.

An elderly man said that before 2019, terrorists used to recruit our children or instigate them to throw stones. But today the same children are in Indian Army uniform.
