VB-G Ram G bill has been passed by both the houses of the Parliament. However, the political turmoil on this issue does not seem to be stopping. Congress is continuously attacking the government on this issue. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah has taken a dig at the bill. He said where did this name come from in the first place? This is the name of a Bollywood movie “Yes mummy ji” As it seems. Attacking the government, Omar said, you have removed the name of the bill, which is wrong and have put the burden of this scheme on the states. Many changes have been made in this bill, which will harm rather than benefit states like ours.
Regarding the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, CM Omar Abdullah said, I took a review meeting of both the divisions. Especially in those areas where snowfall is expected. The administration has completed all its preparations but whether they will be sufficient or not will be known only after the snowfall starts. However, if we have to face some difficulties due to snowfall then I don’t think any of us should complain, because we were waiting for this snowfall for a long time. This will clean the air, stop pollution and our winter tourism season will start. We have made all the preparations from our side.
During this, he also responded to some allegations of the opposition. Omar was asked – The opposition alleges that in Delhi you dance to the tune of BJP? On this he said let him give an example. PM has been very kind. I say this here and everywhere. I am not one of those people who do politics to fool people.
Umar said, wherever the Center will help, I will say this and wherever there is any deficiency, I will also raise it. I have said that as far as other things are concerned, there has been no scope for complaints but when it comes to granting statehood, they have given us nothing but complaints. It would be wrong to lie to keep someone’s heart.
CM said, I do not say this only in Delhi, I say this here, in meetings, public meetings and in the Assembly. Look at my assembly speeches, I have regularly said that whatever good the central government does for us, I will express my gratitude for it and wherever there are mistakes, I will highlight them.
