This story is not just about a cab driver and Ondi car owner, but about a strange combination of trust, patience and luck. Which the driver is seen narrating with his own words. This story is such that it went viral as soon as it came among the people.
The cab driver tells that he received a ride request at around four in the morning. When he saw the pickup location, he was a little surprised because the location was on a flyover. Usually, there are very few pickups from such places, hence a question came to the driver’s mind. He called the customer and asked how pickup on the flyover was possible. To this the customer replied that his car had broken down on the way and he was standing there.
Pickup call came first
Hearing this, the driver felt that perhaps he would have to tow a big vehicle or provide some kind of help. But the customer made it clear that his car does not have to be towed. He told that he has ordered another car and he is going to take petrol from it. The customer told the cab driver that he would have to stand there for about an hour and in return he would give him two thousand rupees.
The cab driver further tells in the video that he has heard such promises before which are not fulfilled. Many times people talk about paying more money, but later go away paying less. So he was not completely sure. Despite this he stayed there. To reassure him, the customer already sent Rs 1,000 online. After this he asked the driver to make a video of his car and send it, so that he could be sure that the driver is really taking care of the car.
The customer turned out to be the owner of the company
The driver made a video of the Audi car and sent it. The customer was satisfied after watching the video and happily sent another Rs 500. According to the driver, after this the customer told him that now he will have to stand there for about one and a half hours. This time he talked about increasing the amount to three thousand rupees.
The driver tells that he clearly told the customer that if he is giving as per his wish then it is fine, otherwise even two thousand rupees is enough for him. But the customer insisted that if he remained there for the stipulated time, he would get the full amount. With this confidence, the driver stood there and kept monitoring the vehicle.
Further in the video, the driver also tells that the owner of the Audi car which he was guarding is himself the owner of a company. He also showed the driver his company’s website. During the conversation, the driver also came to know that products like hookah are also made in that person’s company. In the video, the driver turns the camera towards the car and says that the car is really very nice and its condition is also very good.
The driver did his work honestly
There is no big drama in this video of about one and a half minutes, but perhaps this is its special thing. People were touched by the honest work of an ordinary cab driver and the trust an unknown customer had on him. For this reason this video became viral rapidly.
While sharing this video on Facebook, a user named Bhupendra Singh wrote that the owner of the company gave three thousand rupees just for standing for one hour. By the time this news was written, more than 22 lakh people had watched this video. It has received more than 45 thousand likes and more than 500 people have given their opinion on it.
