Five Biggest Mistakes in my love: In the year 2013, the story of a boy named Kundan who came from the streets of Banaras came on screen. Kundan sacrifices himself in love and along with his life, his love also remains incomplete. That story was named ‘Raanjhanaa’. The work of bringing it on screen was done by the famous director of Hindi cinema, Anand L. By Rai. Rai Saheb once again tried to make ‘Raanjhanaa’. Although Raanjhanaa was not made, many such mistakes were made that it seems that this film could not have been made by the makers of ‘Raanjhanaa’. But whatever is true, is true. That cannot be denied.
Actually, here we are talking about the recently released film ‘Tere Ishq Mein’, which bombed at the box office as soon as it was released and earned Rs 52 crore in just three days. ‘Raanjhanaa’ writer Himanshu Sharma has got the support of Neeraj Yadav in writing the story of this film. And both of them together have just written it. Have forgotten to take care of logic.
Where was the lack in ‘Tere Ishq…’?
- Story
“Whenever you think you have understood Bihar, then Bihar shocks you.” The condition of the story of ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ is similar to this dialogue of ‘Maharani 4’ web series. There are many such turns in this story of 2 hours 47 minutes, where you feel that you are understanding its story, only then such a track and suspense comes, after watching which you feel that you are not watching a romantic-musical but a psychological suspense thriller film and this story is yet to be understood.

The most special thing about ‘Raanjhanaa’ was that it had only one story. The story of Kundan’s one-sided love for Zoya, and the story of him doing anything for her. The worst thing about ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ is that it has not one but many stories. There is Shankar, who is in love with Mukti, there is Shankar’s father, who loses his life out of love for his son, his dream is that his son flies a fighter jet. Beyond all this is the story of the Air Force, whose most skilled pilot is suffering from mental stress. When the story starts, we feel that we have come to watch ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ or the theater people have accidentally started 120 Bahadur. Then, after a little patience, you realize that no, the film is right, it has just been taken in the wrong direction.
- Very boring first hour
The second half of the film seems okay, but the climax is not like ‘Raanjhanaa’. But it seems fine. The first half is quite dull. Shankar (Dhanush) is studying law in Delhi University, but there is not a scene of him studying in the film. On the other hand, salvation (Kriti Sanon), who prepares a 2200-page thesis for her PhD, but her professor makes fun of her topic. There are many strong dialogues in the film, like – If I fall in love, I will burn the whole of Delhi, on the other hand, there are many one-liner punchlines, which would be more correct to call vulgar punchlines, because language and decorum have not been taken care of at all.
- Title song not used properly
Teaser, trailer, makers used the title song of ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ everywhere, but when it came to the film, they forgot to use this song properly. No situation has been created anywhere where this 3-minute scene could take place. There are many intense scenes in the film. By using this song, those intense scenes can be made even stronger. But this was not done, this song was used only at one place in the film.
- Law student does not know about UPSC
Apart from being a law student, Dhanush is also the President of Delhi University Student Union. However, the weakest part of his character is that a boy, who is studying law and is the president of the student union, does not know about UPSC. All he knows is that there is an exam, and if he wants to find love, he will have to pass this exam. Well, in Shankar’s language the full form of UPSC is- Uttar Pradesh Secondary School.
- Kriti Sanon’s character
The writer needed to do more work not only on Dhanush but also on Kriti’s character. The biggest flaw of this character is that she has done PhD in Psychology, she is a psychologist and works as a counselor in defence, her job is to bring people out of mental stress, but she herself is troubled by mental stress. Overall, there are many shortcomings in the film, which if we start telling them in full, we will have to give a spoiler. In one line, if you want to watch this film, you will have to ignore logic.
