My love for you: “If I fall in love, I will burn the whole of Delhi…” A film has come based on one-sided and incomplete love, Janun and Diljale Aashiq. Name- ‘Tere Ishq Mein.’ The hero is Dhanush and the heroine is Kriti Sanon. ‘Raanjhanaa’ director Aanand L Rai has taken charge of direction. Zeeshan Ayyub has also been brought back in the film as Murari and through him the film has been linked to ‘Raanjhanaa’. ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ is not ‘Raanjhanaa’, but it is a good, beautiful and entertaining film. However, there are some scenes in this film, where if you use logic, you will start seeing flaws.
Dhanush has played the role of Shankar and Kriti Sanon has played the role of Mukti in this picture. Actually, the characters of both are very strong and do not bore even the slightest in terms of entertainment. A good story has come on screen from the pen of Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, but there was scope for a little more work on the character of Mukti.
Character of Mukti in ‘Tere Ishq Mein’
In ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ Mukti is a psychologist and is working as a counselor in defence. Seven years ago, when Mukti was in college, Shankar falls in love with her. Mukti did not love Shankar, but she definitely had emotional attachment in her heart. When Shankar’s love is not fulfilled, he becomes a heartbroken lover. Later he starts working as a pilot in the Air Force. Shankar has still not been able to forget his love. He is still burning in the pain of that love. At the same time, he is also struggling with mental stress due to the pain of that love.
Where is the flaw in Mukti’s character?
After seven years, Mukti is sent to Shankar for counselling. When both of them meet, Mukti appears emotional and Shankar’s pain increases even more. Many times in the same story, the character of Mukti has been presented on screen in such a way that it seems as if she is struggling with mental stress somewhere. Somewhere in his mind too, talks about Shankar keep going on. To reduce stress, she drinks and smokes. Looking at him it seems that he is quite depressed. In such a situation, after seeing Mukti, the thought comes to mind that more work can be done on this character, because on one hand she is being described as a psychologist and on the other hand she herself is suffering from mental stress.
From beginning to end this entire story runs on the right track. There are some dialogues and scenes in the film which make you laugh. There are some scenes which make one cry. There are some scenes which make one feel that love remains incomplete. But when we see Mukti suffering from mental stress, her role of a psychologist and counselor becomes a bit difficult to digest.
