
Tension is increasing between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Taliban’s Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar called Pakistan a cowardly enemy and warned. He said, we have directed the Defense Ministry to develop such advanced technological weapons which will give sleepless nights to our neighbors and the world.
Addressing Pakistan, Taliban Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar said he was asking the cowardly enemy not to undermine the territorial integrity of Afghanistan, not to kill innocent women, children and Afghans in violation of all principles and not to test the patience of the Afghan people.
Gave warning to Pakistan
Mullah Baradar further said that no attacker should forget that Taliban also have memory and they do their own important calculations. The Deputy Prime Minister said that Afghanistan wants good relations with all countries, but if anyone attacks, the response will be stern.
Tension increased between the two
Tension has been going on between Pakistan and Afghanistan for some time. In the last months, Pakistan had attacked Afghanistan over TTP. After this, both of them attacked each other and the tension between the two is continuously increasing.
Who is Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar?
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is one of the co-founders of Taliban. It is said that he was one of the trusted commanders of Taliban founder Mullah Omar. He was arrested by security forces in Karachi city of Pakistan in 2010 and released in 2018.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, better known as Mullah Baradar, is the co-founder of the Taliban movement in 1994. Baradar is considered a trusted commander of Mullah Omar and is said to be married to Omar’s sister. Baradar made his mark as a military strategist and commander.
He played important responsibilities in almost all major wars in Afghanistan and was among the top commanders of the Taliban structure in the western region and Kabul.
Involved in many wars
According to Interpol, Baradar was born in 1968 in Vitmak village of Dehradun district in Uruzgan province of Afghanistan. He belongs to the Popalzai branch of the Durrani tribe, which is also the tribe of former President Hamid Karzai. He fought with the Afghan Mujahideen against the Soviets in the 1980s. After the Russians withdrew in 1992 and civil war broke out in the country, Baradar established a madrasa in Kandahar with Mullah Omar and later together they laid the foundation of the Taliban movement.
