
An important meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda at the Lucknow headquarters in Uttar Pradesh regarding better coordination between the organization and the government. During this, JP Nadda clearly said that if we want to win the 2027 assembly elections, we will have to put all our strength into the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign of the voter list. This meeting, which lasted for about an hour, is being considered very important from organizational and political point of view.

In the meeting, top leaders including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and newly elected state president Pankaj Choudhary described SIR as the top priority of the party. During this period there was maximum churning on SIR. JP Nadda told the officials that the deadline of SIR is near and the workers will have to become active in adding the names of eligible voters and removing wrong names. He warned that there is a danger of massive deletion of names of BJP supporters in urban areas, especially those voters who are shifting to rural areas.
CM Yogi expressed displeasure over the laziness of the workers
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed strong displeasure over the laziness of the workers. He said that BJP workers are less active in SIR compared to the opposition. The opposition is going to every house and making fake voters, whereas the BJP voters are not aware. CM directed that leaving all the work, the workers should go from door to door to get the wrong names removed and the names of the characters added. Referring to the complaints, he said that the names of urban voters are being wrongly shifted to rural areas, which may cause loss to the party. Besides, BJP is lagging behind in filing objections also.
State President Pankaj Chaudhary gave assurance
The inauguration of Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 December and the programs of Veer Bal Diwas on 26 December were also discussed in the meeting. State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal Singh presented the outline of the strategy of SIR and upcoming programs. State President Pankaj Chaudhary assured that the workers will actively participate in SIR and there will be no negligence at any level.
Big meeting regarding SIR
In view of the party’s concern regarding SIR, a big meeting has been called at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on Sunday (21 December). This will include CM Yogi, both Deputy Chief Ministers, State President Pankaj Chaudhary, General Secretary Dharampal Singh, all district presidents, divisional level officials, MPs-MLAs and Booth Level Agents (BLA). Keeping in mind the 2027 elections, BJP is busy making the voter list its biggest strength. The extended deadline of SIR is till 26th December.

Nadda welcomed at Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak’s residence
At the same time, Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda reached the official residence of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on Saturday. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak and his wife warmly welcomed Nadda and presented him the idol of Shri Ram Darbar as a memento. During this, Union Minister of State and newly elected state BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary was also present. There was a detailed discussion between the three leaders on the state organization, upcoming programs and political activities. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak shared the information about this meeting on social media platform X.
