
The situation in Bangladesh has remained bad since the death of student leader Usman Hadi. Hadi’s funeral is going to take place today i.e. on Saturday (20th December). Before this, many countries including America have issued warnings to their citizens. This is because there is a possibility of violence and unrest after Hadi’s funeral. In the advisory, people have been advised to avoid demonstrations and stay at home.
America on Saturday bangladesh has issued a travel advisory for its citizens. Protesters demanding immediate action against those responsible for Hadi’s death had carried out large-scale vandalism on Friday. Along with this, the offices of two major media organizations were set on fire in Dhaka.

The advisory warns that there may be problems in traveling during the funeral. Along with this it was said that peaceful meetings can turn into violence. Very heavy traffic is expected in the area and across Dhaka. Therefore stay away from large crowds and protest sites. People have been advised to keep an eye on local media for information and latest situations in their area.
Violence may erupt again in Bangladesh
Osman Hadi will be cremated today in Bangladesh capital Dhaka. Before that, funeral prayers will be offered. After Hadi’s death, the Mohammad Yunus government of Bangladesh has announced one day of state mourning today and has also appealed for as many people as possible to attend the funeral. Considering the violence that has been going on for two days, it is believed that after the funeral, violence may erupt once again in Bangladesh.
