The winter session of Parliament is going on. This session was very noisy and the most discussed during this session was the second bill brought in place of MNREGA. Even on Thursday, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi spoke in the Parliament regarding pollution and changes in MNREGA. During this time, citing a problem, he asked for an appointment with Union Road Minister Nitin Gadkari, on this an immediate reply was given from Nitin Gadkari.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi told Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in the Parliament House itself that I have been asking for a meeting with you for a long time. Please give us time. I want to talk to you regarding the matters of my parliamentary constituency. However, even after asking for time since the month of June, time is not being given. That is why it is requested to give time for meeting.

What answer did Nitin Gadkari give to Priyanka?

When Priyanka Gandhi asked for an appointment with Nitin Gadkari in the Parliament, he immediately replied. He said that no appointment is required. Our doors are always open. You just came to my Parliament office after the Question Hour. I talk to you and listen to you. Perhaps even Priyanka Gandhi did not expect such a reply from Gadkari.

On which matter does Priyanka want to meet?

Explaining her problem, Priyanka Gandhi said that the wall built at many places on Chandigarh Shimla Highway is very weak. During rainy season, landslide like situations occur at many places. This is the reason why attention should be paid to it.

Priyanka claims that she has been trying for the last 6 months to meet Gadkari on this matter. However, they could not meet.
