Famous actor Sanjeev Kumar played the role of Thakur in Sholay. Sanjeev was also liked a lot for his work. His real name was Haribhai Jariwala. He belonged to Gujarat. Sanjeev was born on 9 July 1938 in Surat city of Gujarat. Whereas the actor left this world at the age of 47. He died on 6 November 1985.
Veeru (Dharmendra)
Dharmendra was also enthralled in the role of Veeru. This was the most memorable role of his 65 years of career. Dharmendra made his debut in Bollywood in 1960. Dharmendra was older than Sanjeev and Amjad. He was born in Nasrali village of Punjab on 8 December 1935 and died on 24 November 2025.
