Now a big statement from the actress’s lawyer has come out on the news that were floating about the action of the Income Tax Department at the house of Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.
Advocate Prashant Patil has made it clear that what is being described as ‘raiding’ is actually a routine process. The lawyer has warned that those who are misrepresenting the case will have to face legal consequences.
‘This is not a raid, it is a routine verification’
Shilpa Shetty Kundra Issuing a statement on behalf of the lawyer, Prashant Patil said, “I want to clarify on behalf of my client Shilpa Shetty that no income tax raid of any kind has been done against her. The Income Tax Department officials had come only for a routine verification. This is a follow-up process which is being given a wrong name.”
Prashant Patil further said, “Whoever is claiming that this incident is related to EOW case, will have to face legal action in the court. We are clarifying that there has been no raid at his house.”

What was the dispute?
Let us tell you that earlier there were reports that the Income Tax Department has raided Shilpa’s locations in Mumbai and Bengaluru regarding her hotel business ‘Bastian’. It was also said that after the police action due to keeping the pub open till late night, the IT department has now become active. But now Shilpa’s legal camp has rejected all these claims and termed it as just a ‘routine follow-up’.
At present, this statement of the lawyer has given a new twist to the stir in the social media and news market.
