Do not donate these things on Saturday

white goods

It is said that Shani Dev does not like white things. White objects are said to be related to the Moon. Moon and Saturn are considered diametrically opposed to each other, hence white items like white clothes, rice, milk items should not be donated on Saturday. Shani Dev gets angry on donating these things and one does not get the virtue of donation.

red things

One should not donate red items even by mistake on Saturday. It is said in astrology that red color is related to the Sun. Sun and Saturn are father and son, but they are enemy planets to each other, hence red clothes and red fruits should not be donated on this day.

yellow things

Yellow things are related to planet Bahaspati. In the scriptures, Saturn and Jupiter are described as enemies, hence yellow items like gold, brass, wheat, turmeric and yellow clothes should not be donated on Saturday.

According to astrology, plastic and glass are said to be related to Shani Dev, hence donating these things on Saturday is not considered auspicious. One should avoid donating on this day.

Salt should not be donated on Saturday. Because donating salt on this day angers Shani Dev, which can increase financial and mental problems in life, hence do not donate salt on this day even by mistake.
