Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold: Samsung has finally launched its first tri-fold smartphone. The name of this phone is Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold and it gives a large 10-inch AMOLED display when opened. The phone includes Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. It has a 5600mAh battery which supports 45W fast charging. It will go on sale in South Korea from December 12, while the global launch will happen soon. The company will reveal the price in the coming days.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold price and availability
Samsung has not yet announced the price of Galaxy Z TriFold, but the phone will be available for sale in South Korea from December 12. The company also said that after this it will also be launched in global markets like China, Taiwan, Singapore, UAE and US. Galaxy Z TriFold will be available only in Crafted Black color and hands-on experience will also be available at select offline stores. The company is going to share its official price in the coming days.
10 inch large AMOLED screen
Galaxy Z TriFold has a 10 inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner display. It has 269ppi pixel density, 1600 nits brightness and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Its 6.5 inch Full-HD+ cover display also supports 120Hz and is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. It has Android 16 based OneUI 8. The rear panel of the phone is made of Ceramic-Glass FRP and the device has got IP48 rating, which gives it basic protection from dust and water.
Hinge Mechanism and Performance
Samsung has used titanium hinge housing and advanced armor aluminum in Galaxy Z TriFold, which gives better strength to the phone. It has two different sized hinges and dual-rail structure, which makes folding smooth and keeps the gap minimal. This smartphone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset and comes with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. This chipset based on 3nm process is capable of providing high-end performance.
Camera setup and battery
For photography, Galaxy Z TriFold has a 200MP primary camera, which has OIS support. It comes with a 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto camera, which provides 30x digital zoom. There is a 10MP front camera on both the cover and inner display. For power, it has a large 5600mAh battery, which supports 45W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port.
