Rohit Sharma, who has already made many big records, has now become the batsman who has hit the most sixes in ODI cricket. In the first ODI match against South Africa in Ranchi, the former Indian captain broke the record of former Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi by hitting 3 sixes.
Before the first match of the ODI series against South Africa in Ranchi, Rohit Sharma had 349 sixes in his name in 268 innings and he needed only 3 sixes to break Shahid Afridi’s record. Team India came to bat first in this match and hence Rohit did not have to wait long to break this record. He did not even take much time and by the 20th over he broke Afridi’s record by hitting his third six.
