Actually, a developer from Kolkata has posted this, in which the recruiter had written a quick and direct reply that he is rejected. Actually, Krishnav had sent his resume to a hiring contact at 11:47 pm and within just 6 minutes i.e. by 11:53 pm, he received a polite and short message saying ‘Hey, keep creating great things. Currently there is a search for a more experienced developer. Best of luck’.

‘Saved from unnecessary follow-up’

Usually it happens that people become a little sad after receiving the rejection message, but this was not the case with Krishnav. Instead of taking the rejection negatively, he praised the recruiter’s honesty and said that the prompt response saved him time and unnecessary follow-up. Now this post of his is going viral on social media. Many users gave the recruiter a virtual thumbs-up because he was on time and efficient and not ghosting, a common headache for job seekers.

A user has commented on the post, ‘Early rejection is actually a boon, it saves you weeks of waiting. We have to normalize this’, while many social media users also pointed out that the hiring process often involves weeks of silence, candid conversations or the sudden disappearance of the recruiter, while many even called this a rejection that every company should adopt.
