Upcoming Smartphones in January 2026: In January 2026 i.e. next month, many new smartphones with great features are going to be launched for the customers in the Indian market. The launch date of Realme 16 Pro Series has been confirmed, Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will be launched in this series.
For this series, the company has joined hands with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The company has promised that this handset will also get support for three years of Android OS updates and four years of Android security patches.
Realme 16 Pro Series Launch Date in India
The company has given information about the launch date of this upcoming series by sharing a post on X (Twitter). This series will be launched for customers on January 6, 2026 at 12 noon. Before the launch, it has also been confirmed that after the launch, customers will be able to buy this phone from Flipkart apart from the company’s official site.

Realme 16 Pro Series Specifications (Confirmed)
Not only the date but also it has been mentioned in the post that this series will be equipped with features like 200 Megapixel Portrait Master. This series will be launched in two color options, Master Gold and Master Grey. For this upcoming series, a separate microsite has been prepared on Flipkart and Realme.com, through which some special features available in the phone have been confirmed. This latest series of Realme will work on Realme UI 7.0.
Talking about the chipset, this series will be launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, currently it has not been disclosed with which chipset of Snapdragon this new series will be brought. Apart from this, support of AI Edit Genie 2.0 will also be available in this series. Details related to processor, battery, selfie camera and display are yet to be revealed.
