Premanand Maharaj: In Sanatan Dharma, the principle of karma and rebirth is considered very special and important. According to Sanatan beliefs, a person has to suffer the consequences of his deeds from birth to birth. The effect of a person’s karma is not limited to any one birth, rather karma also creates the direction of birth. It is said in Sanatan Dharma that a person gets the auspicious results of his good deeds in his previous birth in this birth.

A woman asked Premanand Maharaj whether chanting the name would yield results in the next life? Premanand Maharaj said that the matter is about the next life. Chanting the name gives one the ability to bear sorrow. Besides, the sins committed earlier also get eliminated by chanting the name. Chanting the name leads to good deeds and attainment of God. Maharaj said that it is difficult to erase destiny. One has to suffer sorrows.
Freedom from the cycle of birth and death – Premanand Maharaj
The karmas which do not become destiny continue to accumulate over many births. By chanting the name such deeds are destroyed. Just chanting the name has such power that it destroys all past sins. By chanting the name, future mistakes are also erased and the person becomes free from the cycle of birth and death. Premanand Maharaj said that by chanting the name every problem goes away. If you do not chant the name, you will disappear from this world.
