November 30, 2025 by Uma Shankar

All the MPs of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party will hold a massive protest outside the Islamabad High Court (High Court) on Tuesday and demand the release of their leader from Adiala jail. Chief Minister of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Sohail Afridi announced that party leaders would go to Rawalpindi’s high security jail to meet Imran after protests outside the Islamabad High Court.

Imran (73) is lodged in Adiala jail since 2023 in connection with several cases. He was arrested for the first time in August the same year. Addressing a press conference at the Chief Minister’s Office here, Afridi said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran has been kept in complete isolation since November 4 and no one is allowed to meet him.

Strong protest in front of the Chief Justice

He announced that on Tuesday, all the MPs will first go to Islamabad High Court and hold a strong protest in front of the Chief Justice of the court, because despite his orders, the Chief Minister was not allowed to meet Imran Khan. Afridi said that this is a clear contempt of court. We will protest in the High Court. He told that after this the party MP will go to Adiala jail to meet Imran Khan.

Murder inside Rawalpindi jail

In fact, earlier this week it was claimed about cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan that he has been murdered inside Rawalpindi jail. Meanwhile, denying the rumors of Imran Khan’s death, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Khurram Zeeshan said that Imran Khan is alive and is currently lodged in Adiala jail. Khurram Zeeshan alleged that Imran Khan is being forced to leave the country by harassing him. Zeeshan said that the former Prime Minister is being kept isolated as part of a strategy to put pressure on him to leave Pakistan.

Pak government scared of Imran Khan’s popularity

Khurram Zeeshan, associated with PTI, while talking to news agency ANA, said that the government in the country is scared and scared of the popularity of Imran Khan, which is why they have not given permission to release any of his pictures or videos. The ruling government in Pakistan seems to be in danger, they fear that even a single picture can garner public support.
