
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to 3 countries. In the third phase of the visit, PM Modi left for Oman on Wednesday. Before this, he first went to Jordan and then reached Ethiopia from there. He received a warm welcome in Ethiopia. The PM was awarded the highest honor here and then he also addressed the Parliament. After this, when PM Modi was leaving for Oman, the host PM himself drove his car to drop him at the airport.
PM Modi’s visit to Ethiopia has further strengthened relations between India and Ethiopia. This tour was also very important for the East African country Ethiopia. With his first visit to Ethiopia, both the countries tried to advance their historical relations to the level of ‘strategic partnership’.
PM Ali drove the car to the hotel and left
The relations between the two countries and the two heads of state became so strong that the host Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali himself drove his car to drop PM Modi to the airport. Earlier, when PM Modi reached Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa after completing his visit to Jordan, he was given a warm welcome there.

Nobel Peace Prize winner PM Ahmed Ali warmly welcomed him at the airport and himself drove his car to take PM Modi to the hotel. Not only this, Ali took the distinguished Indian guest to show the Science Museum and Friendship Park.
PM Modi leaves for Oman in the third phase
After completing his 2-day visit to Ethiopia, PM Modi on Wednesday left for Oman on the last leg of his 4-day visit to 3 countries. PM Modi is visiting Oman on the invitation of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, where he will hold in-depth discussions on strengthening the strategic partnership with Sultan Tariq and strengthening commercial and economic relations.
PM Modi, who is on his second visit to Oman, will also address a meeting of the NRI community here. Regarding the Oman visit, the Ministry of External Affairs had said, “This visit of PM Modi will be an opportunity for both sides to comprehensively review the bilateral partnership in different areas including trade, investment as well as defence, security, technology, agriculture and culture and discuss regional and global issues of mutual interest.”
PM Modi honored with Ethiopia’s highest honor
During his visit to Ethiopia, PM Modi also held a wide-scale meeting with his Ethiopian counterpart Ali, after which several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the two in different fields.

Apart from this, PM Modi also addressed the joint session of the Ethiopian Parliament. Earlier, the PM was honored with Ethiopia’s highest award, The Great Honor Mark of Ethiopia. He is the first foreign leader in the world to receive this award.
