These 11 players who were part of PSL will now play IPL

Such players include Finn Allen, jason holderTim Seifert, Matthew Short, Akeal Hosein, Kyle Jamieson, Luke Wood, Adam Milne, Jordan Cox, Ben Dwarshuis and Mitchell Owen. Among these, Mitchell Owen has been retained by Punjab Kings for Rs 3 crore. All the remaining players have been sold in the IPL 2026 auction. All these players will not be seen playing in the next season of PSL.
Which IPL team bought which PSL player?
Finn Allen used to play for Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League. But in IPL 2026 he will now be seen playing for KKR. KKR has bought him at the base price of Rs 2 crore. Jason Holder, who was a part of Islamabad United in PSL, will play for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2026. GT bought him for 7 crores. Tim Seifert, who was a part of Karachi Kings in PSL, will also play in IPL 2026. KKR has bought him for Rs 1.50 crore.
Matthew Short has been bought by CSK for Rs 1.5 crore. meaning that too IPL 2026 Will play in. Matthew Short is part of Islamabad United in PSL. Aqeela Hosein, who plays for Quetta Gladiators in PSL, will also be seen playing in IPL 2026. He was bought by CSK for Rs 2 crore. Kyle Jamieson, who plays for Quetta Gladiator in PSL, has been bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 2 crore. Meaning he will also be seen playing in IPL 2026. Luke Wood has become a part of Gujarat Titans for Rs 75 lakh. He will also leave Peshawar Zalmi in PSL and now play the next season of IPL.
Adam Milne, who played for Karachi Kings in PSL, has been bought by RR for Rs 2.40 crore. And these will also be available for the next season of IPL. Apart from these, two more players Jordan Cox and Ben Dwarshuis, who played for Islamabad United in PSL, will also be seen playing the next season of IPL. RCB bought Cox for Rs 75 lakh while Punjab Kings spent Rs 4.40 crore on Ben Dwarshuis.
PSL and IPL starting on the same date
The big thing is that the next season of PSL and IPL is starting on the same date. There are reports of both starting from March 26. In such a situation, it is obvious that there is no option for the players. And in that case, they will be seen giving importance to IPL over PSL, which is also the biggest T20 league in the world.
