OnePlus is preparing to launch its next budget flagship smartphone OnePlus 15R in India. This phone will be launched on 17th December. The company has shown the first glimpse of the design of this phone, while the specifications have been confirmed to a great extent through leaks. The phone is expected to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, 8000mAh powerful battery, 165Hz display and dual 50MP camera. The price is likely to be slightly higher than the previous model OnePlus 13R. Let us tell you that recently the company has launched Oneplus 15.
OnePlus showed the first glimpse
OnePlus has released official pictures of OnePlus 15R on its website, in which the flat-edged and premium finish of the phone is clearly visible. Its design looks clean and modern like the OnePlus 15 series, which has a squared camera module at the back. At the time of launch, the phone will be available in two color options – black and green. The company has not yet revealed the hardware details, but from the design it looks like a premium budget flagship. This phone can be offered at a price of Rs 40 to 45 thousand.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 8000mAh battery expected
If leaks are to be believed, OnePlus 15R will be a rebadged model of OnePlus Ace 6T in India and it will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. This chip will place it firmly in the upper mid-range category. The biggest feature of the phone is considered to be the 8000mAh battery, which OnePlus officials have already teased for the Ace 6T, and the 15R is also likely to get the same cell. There is also strong talk of 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support, which can make it one of the fastest charging phones in its category.
Display and camera features: High refresh rate and dual 50MP setup
OnePlus 15R is claimed to have a display with 165Hz refresh rate, although information about brightness and panel type has not been revealed yet. Talking about camera setup, the phone is expected to have a dual 50MP rear camera system. This setup will follow OnePlus’ current camera trend and promises to give users better daylight photography. Other hardware details will become clear closer to launch.
